Cause

There is a known issue with Java 8 that may cause the above issue.

Solution

Use Java 7 JDK to run the LucidWorks processes. If you have multiple versions of Java on your environment, you could specify the location of the Java 7 binary by editing JVM variable in the start.[bat|sh] file under [LW_HOME]/bin
