Adding queries/searches to LucidWorks UI graphs

So, you might notice that your own queries may not be making it to the LucidWorks UI graphs about requests per minute or to the most popular queries. This is because you aren't using the LucidWorks Search page to execute those queries. However, you are probably mostly interested in making sure that your own queries outside of LucidWorks Search page can keep that information.

Simple:

add req_type=main to your query.

So your query might look something like this:

http://<host>:<port:8888>/solr/<collection>/select?q=foo&req_type=main

Now statistics will be kept about those queries.
