Looking inside Zookeeper

A common question is how do I see my files in Zookeeper. There are a few ways you can do this depending on what exactly you are trying to do.

1) You can see them via the UI:
http://<host>:<port>/solr/#/<collection>/files

2) You can download the configs from zookeeper using the zkcli.sh script provided found at:
(LucidWorks): app/bin/cloud-scripts/zkcli.sh

OR for Solr at:

scripts/cloud-scripts/zkcli.sh

Run it as: cmd> bash ./zkcli.sh -h and you will get a usage statement.

3) You can also see the files via the zkCli.sh script (different than above) provided by Zookeeper. You can find this where you installed zookeeper at: $ZK_HOME/bin/zkCli.sh.

With that script you can look inside zookeeper and see what is where, although looking at a long file can be difficult because it will depend on how much scrollback your window can handle.
